PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transitioning from Homelessness)
The PATH program is designed to serve individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and have a mental illness and possible co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis. Goodwill provides case management services for more than 60 individuals and work with them to an ultimate goal of safe and affordable housing.
- Goodwill Industries of Greater NE, Inc. owns and manages three housing projects for 61 disabled residents across central and greater Nebraska.
- Twenty seven housing units in Grand Island, Columbus, Hastings, and Kearney are managed in partnership with Greater Nebraska Independent Housing, Inc.
- The remaining 18 housing units are located in two Grand Island locations, owned and managed by Central Nebraska Goodwill Housing I and II.
Housing applicants must meet certain criteria to qualify for housing services.
