It is the responsibility of the Goodwill Foundation to raise money to assist Goodwill’s mission of helping people with a developmental disability, mental illness, drug addiction, and others with disabilities who are in need of job skills training, to accomplish things the rest of us may take for granted – like safe and decent housing, transportation, quality child care, and more.
Goodwill accepts cash donations and promotes an annual campaign each year, which conducts fundraising drives in Grand Island, Kearney and Hastings, Nebraska. Monies from this campaign remain in the donor's respective community, playing a direct, positive impact upon everyone's quality of life.
Goodwill also partners with Hornady Manufacturing, Five Points Bank, Beavercreek Marketing and other businesses to sponsor the annual Platte River Charity Shoot.
Planned giving to Goodwill through wills and estates is a wonderful way to leave a legacy, while enjoying the tax advantages of philanthropic giving.
Bequests of any size can help make sure that Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska will be here serving our local Nebraska communities with quality employment and support programs for generations to come.
